Is this the next-generation Kia Forte?

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Is this the next-generation Kia Forte?

An independently-owned Kia-dedicated blog has revealed what it says is a sketch of the next-generation Forte sedan.

According to Kia-World.net, the exclusive image it received is a preview of the next-generation Forte sedan that is set to debut sometime in 2012.

If this is indeed what the next-generation Forte sedan will look like, what's your take on the design?Considering that the current-generation Forte is based on the platform of the previous-generation Elantra, could the next-generation Forte also follow suit and be based on the current-generation Elantra?

the 1st generation koup is already a stunner in every way unfortunately the price tag puts one buyer to have 2nd thoughts . this one shares the same stance as the genesis.

I loved most of these Korean designs, I really just wish they can really guarantee no problems with supply issues when you have car serviced or repaired.

I really hope they fix that as I am really turned off by that. No matter how good the car comes out of the plant, something is bound to happen in the real world and one thing or another will break or need replacement. If it takes to long to replace it, it ends nothing but a lump of metal that's idling and not serving its purpose.

I know Hyundai has a slightly better supply of parts compared to Kia but still not on par with their Japanese counterparts when it comes to the Philippine Market. Hope they change that and be really pro-active.

Design cues are questionable but i see a little bit of an Elantra here but way more handsome. I hope it has better pricing when it reaches in the philippines because at a price of P1,320,000, i would rather buy a Lancer EX GT-A w/ some modifications on it.

While it borrows most of its cues from the current design, Kia made a good looking car look even better.

I wonder why kia still doesn't bring the Forte Hatch here

Is the Forte and Cerato the same?
  • aeronTGco Dec 22 2011 @ 01:18am
It looks hot....but we must see the production version first. Kia is impressing the market with its hot looking cars recently...because they hired Peter Schreyer, the former chief designer of Audi.

are they copying Honda's front fascia? That grill and headlight is very Honda-ish

now that you've mentioned it, the side profile looks a lot like a slightly longer GM City, with a prominent Hyundai-like "fluidic sculpture" character/swage line running just below the belt line.
