Lamborghini coming to the Philippines

Lamborghini Aventador

The industry is now abuzz with talk of Lamborghini's arrival in the Philippines in the second half of this year. Sources say the Italian supercar brand is coming here courtesy of PGA Cars, which also distributes Porsche and Audi. And according to these sources, the Lamborghini showroom will be located at the facility that PGA Cars has been constructing at the Bonifacio High Street complex in Bonifacio Global City--which we initially thought to be reserved for Volkswagen.

If this pushes through, PGA Cars will be a luxury multibrand distributor, much like the group of Wellington Soong, which sells and markets Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati and pretty soon Ferrari. Also, BGC will now be home to several high-end automotive brands, with Lamborghini joining Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Mini. A joint Ferrari/Maserati showroom is also expected to open shop in the area either by the end of this year or early in 2012. Other car brands that have showrooms in BGC are Ford, Honda, Kia and Hyundai.

So, are you excited to see the new Lamborghini Aventador in the metal?

They will not anymore offer any Murcielago variant because it was already replaced by the Aventador. Probably they'll sell us Gallardo, Gallardo Spyder, and Aventador.

@warak1422 car industry is a constant development process and Korean cars are now keeping up with the western car technology. No wonder in years to come Chinese cars will meet western standards if not surpass it.
