Mini makes another tribute to the 2012 London Olympics

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Mini makes another tribute to the 2012 London Olympics

With the 2012 Summer Olympics in London drawing closer, Mini and the London Philharmonic Orchestra have collaborated to give the British national anthem an unusual twist.

Guided by conductor Gareth Newman and using the horns of nine Mini London 2012 special-edition models, nine members of the renowned orchestra played 'God Save the Queen' as a tribute to the city's hosting of the event.

"It's the first time that we've attempted to play a piece using just car horns as instruments, and it was a fun and unique experience for us as musicians," Newman said after the performance.
