Motor Image Pilipinas bares plan to launch BRZ, XV, all-new Impreza

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Motor Image Pilipinas sees Subaru surging in 2012

Motor Image Pilipinas is looking forward to a better sales performance in 2012 with plans to launch three new vehicles and to open three new showrooms.

"We're bringing in the all-new Impreza in the first quarter of 2012, and then the XV and the BRZ by the second half," said Motor Image Pilipinas general manager Nicky Mariano.�

He added that new Subaru showrooms will be established in Alabang, Davao and at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

These plans are placed to help Subaru fully recover from supply issues this year.�

"It came to a point that our inventory of the Forester, which is our bestselling model, nearly ran out," Mariano said.�

Motor Image Pilipinas expects to end 2011 with sales reaching 1,200 units.�

It's amusing how both the BRZ and the GT-86 will be sold here. Quite a fun story to tell if you have a problem with the engine, bring the car to Toyota, and they send you to Subaru. hehehe! Anyway I like the Impreza. It's so *gly it might actually be a Subaru, except without the frameless windows. :D

Any idea about the pricing? I think the Impreza will bericed from P1.2-1.3M; while the XV will be priced somewherein the P1.4-1.5M mark. The BRZ, i think it will be priced similar to the Toyota GT86, not less than P2M! O_O expensive!!! Is it worth it?

Will that be the Impreza S206?? If it is, then it's a toss coin between the BRZ and this new Impreza that I'll get excited about.

BRZ will likely be cheaper than the 86..TMPC's pricing for Japanese imports especially na di kasama sa tariff discount ay MAHAL..I prefer the Subaru BRZ!

The Subaru Impreza XV will likely be priced at around 1.3 Million Pesos..Its more like a taller version of the new Impreza!

I'm kinda interested of buying a Subaru next year!
