A guy named Kevin Pasimio Locsin posted on his Facebook page photographs of how his family's cars were supposedly thrashed by a group of young men in their residence in BF Homes, Parañaque, most likely in the wee hours of this morning. In his post, he specifically named two people: Daryl Matti and Stefan Morales. He also mentioned other unnamed individuals who may have been involved in the incident.
Locsin, who is currently out of the country but is on a return flight as you read this, told TopGear.com.ph that Matti is the boyfriend of his sister. He shared that his family doesn't approve of Matti for his sister because he is supposedly a bad influence. Based on the reports that reached Locsin, Matti had a fight with Locsin's sister in a bar called "Vapor," even punching the latter. (We looked for a bar with this name and found Vapor Hookah Lounge on Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes.) Locsin expressed belief that Matti and his companions were high on drugs.
After the quarrel, Locsin added, Matti and his friends left the bar. "That's the time pala na nilooban na kami," he said.
It is unclear how Matti was able to enter the Locsin residence. Even more perplexing is how he was able to get the keys to the family's vehicles. They took out Kevin's Ford Ranger and crashed it into another car. They also drove away with the Mercedes-Benz SLK of Kevin's father and likewise crashed it on Tropical Avenue. Also damaged was Kevin's parked Nissan R32 Skyline, which appears to have been thrashed. The family's service car, a Toyota Vios, was still missing when Kevin narrated the story to us.
Meanwhile, Chesca Diaz Morales, the mother of Stefan Morales, whom Locsin named in his post, made an appeal on her Facebook page (in italics):
To family, friends and the public. This is to clarify and clear my son's name involved in this incident. My son did not do anything wrong whatsoever. I would like to inform the Locsin family to clear his name. He was just protecting your daughter, Pam Locsin. The person involved is Mr. Daryl Matti. I hope to those who shared the posts attached could share this post so that my son's name is cleared. We are cooperating and meeting with the parents of Pam Locsin because our son is also a victim.
Matti is believed to be at large as of this writing. Anyone who may have information regarding his wheareabouts is encouraged to contact the authorities. We will update you on the latest development once Locsin arrives in Manila.
