At around 9:30pm Friday night in Santa Barbara, California, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger drove his black BMW 3-Series Coupe through an area near the University of California, and opened fire--killing six people and injuring more than a dozen others. He then crashed said BMW into a parked car and apparently shot himself in the head after a shoot-out with the police.
Rodger was positively identified by his father Peter Rodger, an assistant director for the film The Hunger Games. Police declared that the suspect had been mentally disturbed. Below is a video taken by the suspect inside his car before the unfortunate incident. In the video, he told of his hatred toward girls for not giving him romantic attention. He also lamented that he was still a virgin. (Watch the disturbing video below.)
The photo above of Rodger's BMW can be found on his personal Facebook page (it's his page's cover photo). Rodger seemed to be a huge fan of high-end car brands, having liked the Facebook pages of Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
