Top Gear Philippines

Ugly potholes. Uncovered manholes. Drawn-out diggings. You've seen them all. We're, of course, referring to Philippine roads. It seems it's illegal to build world-class thoroughfares in this country. Our streets are such an abomination that we've all just gotten used to it. C'est la vie. Nothing you can do about it, we all seem to think.

Not this feisty netizen.

Kaycee Garcia wrote us this message (in italics):

Hi, Top Gear!

She also provided us a link to her post on her own Facebook wall, which reads:

ROAD TO HELL (General Evangelista Road, Bacoor, Cavite)
Sabay pa ginawa yung project ng DPWH at Maynilad. MYGAD!!! I HATE CORRUPTION!!!

This rant, by the way, was posted on Kaycee's page last July 8. Two weeks later, according to her, the state of this road is even worse. "Mas malala pa," she told us.

A guy named Erroh Santos, who identifies himself as an employee of the City Government of Bacoor, commented (in italics):

Project pa po yan during PNoy administration. Thanks and God bless.

Another person by the name of Janina Dela Cruz-Ruiz posted this (in italics):

One dude, Michael Mckleen, added (in italics):

Take a look at the so-called "road to hell." Tell us what you think.

PS: If anyone from the Department of Public Works and Highways is reading this, feel free to issue your pathetic excuse official statement.
