PIMS 2012: BMW M Performance Parts for 1-, 3-, 5-Series
Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW cars in the country, has finally made available to the Philippine market new BMW M Performance Parts specially designed for the new BMW 1-Series, 3-Series and 5-Series models.
Like the BMW M Performance Parts that are already available for the high-performance M3, 1-Series M Coupe, X5 M and X6 M, the components developed for the 1-Series, 3-Series and 5-Series models ensure "an authentic M experience of BMW's M-specific motor racing technology for everyday driving."
According to BMW, the new line of accessories provides "a distinctive, sporty character to further enhance driving dynamics," as the M Performance Parts are the result of years of racing expertise and have been developed in close collaboration with BMW M GmbH. Each component reportedly goes through an intensive development and manufacturing process, resulting in uncompromised performance. As a result, exclusive chassis, aerodynamic, cockpit and powertrain components are now available for the 1-Series, 3-Series, and 5-Series sedans.
All M Performance products installed in the vehicle carry a BMW four-year/80,000km warranty on the items if installed prior to delivery of said vehicle. If the BMW M Performance Parts are installed after the delivery of the vehicle, the warranty will be for the balance of the vehicle's limited warranty or two years from the date of installation, whichever is greater.
