PIMS 2012: Jeep brings in special-edition Wrangler

Gearheads who happen to be fans of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 video game can now buy one of the vehicles that appear in it--the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition sport-utility vehicle. The model's introduction to the Philippines comes at the right time as Jeep has just revealed the Wranger's new tagline ("The toughest vehicle in the world").

Based on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model, the Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition model is only available in black and comes with Rubicon wheels finished in semi-gloss black. It also has "Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition" graphics on the front fenders and spare tire cover.

Other features that make it stand out from regular Wranglers are its unique 'power-dome' hood and Mopar accessories like its winch-ready front bumper, snorkel and fuel-filler door. Of course, being a Jeep, the new limited-edition Wrangler delivers legendary Jeep capability and comes with live axles with locking differentials in the front and the rear, and a two-speed transfer case.

For its interior, the special-edition Jeep comes with model-specific black seats with accent stitching and "Call of Duty" logos; unique gauge cluster graphics; dashboard-mounted serialized plaque; dashboard grab handle with logo; accent stitching on armrest, console lid, and steering wheel; Mopar Slush Mats with logo; and a rear cargo mat with logo.

Optional Mopar performance parts available for the special-edition Jeep are a Warn winch, two-inch lift kit, and classic five-spoke wheels.
