Lamborghini recently rolled out a race-ready version of the Huracan onto the track for the very first time, specifically at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, Italy.
Under the supervision of Lamborghini chief test driver Giorgio Sanna, Lamborghini Squadra Corse test drivers Adrian Zaugg and Fabio Babini shared driving duties to set up the new GT3 race car.
The Huracan GT3 reportedly marks Lamborghini's first complete in-house production of a GT3 car, and is expected to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series from the 2015 season.
"I'm pretty much satisfied with this first test of the new Huracan GT3," said Sanna. "We still have plenty of work to do to be ready for the upcoming season, but performance and reliability feedback is encouraging. I have no doubt that this car will more than hold its own in international GT3 competitions."
