Seaoil Philippines raised retail price of gasoline, diesel and kerosene products by 25 centavos a liter at 6 a.m. Monday.
The country's largest independent oil company said, however, the price adjustment will not be implemented in areas affected by Typhoon Pepeng, which includes the provinces of Pangasinan, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Ecija and Abra.
Other oil firms have not made a similar announcement. Local oil retailers, including Seaoil, slashed as much as 75 centavos a liter off fuel prices on October 6.
