Super Bowl XLVI ad: Lexus GS

For most advertisers, using a funny plot or breathtaking visual effects is the way to go when it comes to placing a spot in a Super Bowl telecast. Lexus isn't one of them. The Japanese luxury brand apparently believes in simplicity and straightforwardness. For the big game on February 5, Lexus is airing "The Beast," a no-frills ad for the all-new GS.

"This spot looks very different than anything Lexus has done before, and demonstrates to the 50-million-strong Super Bowl audience that 2012 will be a breakthrough year for Lexus," said Brian Smith, Lexus's vice president of marketing.

By, far, the most striking, most powerful commercial of the 4 being posted here. I felt like "Oh shit..." The car is just so elegant, and looks so powerful. I dunnow about marketing but, with this commercial, this thing will sell a car. Nice one Lexus. :))

It is a very effective advertising for Lexus. If you notice right about at the end, they highlighted three of same container/case of GS while the narrator saying "this is just the beginning." So they will also release three more car models.
