Toyota Motor PH already has an actual unit of the 86 coupe

We know that most of you can't wait to see the Toyota 86 in the metal. Well, it looks like you won't be waiting for much longer. Today, an employee of Toyota Motor Philippines, a jolly guy named Uzzi Asuncion, posted photos on Facebook, showing himself wearing a TMP shirt and standing right beside a red 86. That means TMP already has an actual unit of the car, which in turn means the official launch date is drawing near.

Check out the photo. May it serve as inspiration as you continue saving up for the gorgeous sports coupe.

    You could access toyota.com.au (australia) more or less to see yung 86 na 2 door. For me, its a very nice sports car.

    I read an article that it's going to have a 1.5m price tag!
    Problem is, only 20 units will be sold.

      Actually it says that INITIALLY 20 units will be sold. So not necessarily limited.

      i doubt 20 lang talaga. kung 1.5m lang malaki demand niyan. sa tingin ko nga kahit 2m pa yan marami pa rin bibili. hehe

      Well, it really depends if you think the article is a reliable source of info.
      I think, caliber38 got the correct idea that 20 is the INITIAL number to be released. But the thing is, demand has been so high in the US and Japan that they're already having shortages there.
      So, imo, only 20 units will be released this year, and the rest, maybe after 3 years pa or longer, when they've catered to the demand in higher priority markets.

        Parang sa Alphard noon yan na 20 units muna ang dumating tapos dumami din dahil maraming nag-pareserve o yung ibang dealer gusto ng units..Malamang ganyan din ang mangyari sa Toyota 86!

    i remember this guy... taga planta ata sya, kasi tuwing may tent event ang toyota, sya yung nakikita ko sa table pag nagreregister ka ng test drive. and i think sa tabi to ng toyota bicutan kung saan nilalagay ang japan made units, di tulad ng mga thai/indo units na dinadala sa santa rosa?

    Anak ng.,Sana ihiwalay na yang kotse na yan pls. lang Baka mapili ko pa yan.. Cgurado ako may konting yupi na yan sa bigat ng tao. Ang mga may-ari nga hindi sumasandal sa kanilang mga kotse. Kailangan idisiplina ang tao!!!
