The Ford Focus-Tuason Racing School (TRS) Racing Team is at the top of the standings of the Philippine Production Car Championship just two legs after the series kicked off in October.
Using all-new 1.8-liter Ford Focus sedans, the TRS Racing Team saw Alvin Ng and Marcus Wong win races five and six, respectively, in the series' second leg. Their teammate Sean Redpath finished behind Wong.
Fresh from its GT championship win, the TRS Racing Team is looking to finish the season still at the top when the series wraps up in January 2011.
"We had a fantastic year with the new car and our driver roster," said TRS founder JP Tuason. "We have basically won almost all of the competitions we joined this year including the lateral Drift competition and in the Karting Super Series. Winning the PPCC will be such a blessing and tribute to the performance of the team and the Ford Focus 1.8."
