• Charlie says I saw last week in the UK, 3 Chevrolet Cruze finish the top spot in 20 lap race. Tinalo pa yung Ford Focus, Audi A4, BMW 3s and etc. Mukhang mabagsik yung chassis nito bagong Cruze. Obviously it was designed in Euro and not in Korea. The Philippines compact car scene has just become a bit interesting now. (12 March 2010)

• jmg_32188 says the problem with chevrolet is that they can't tell people that their models are actually sourced from gm-daewoo of korea.. i'm not saying that daewoo is not a good brand.. i'm really impressed with what's going on korean automobile industry nowadays.. but most of us still can't realize that korean cars are now leveling up.. maybe that's the reason for chevy not to tell that thing.. • jmg_32188 says @ boogiecat: i was able to take a look at chevrolet mandaluyong while riding along shaw blvd last friday and there i saw 6 units of cruze.. i think that it's one strong marketing strategy hehe.. for the rich ones it would be tempting to take one out of those six.. but it would be better if they will do TV ad.. • cc says Actually I just saw the Chevy Cruze yesterday at a showroom and i gotta tell you guys it really looks bigger than the normal sedan, definitely bigger than an altis. Its size is almost comparable to an executive car. I wasn't excited when i saw it on a review but when i saw it in person its a pretty decent car. I really love the interior. One of the best interiors ive seen among its class. Im not really sure about the performance or quality, im gonna have a test drive this wednesday. and Im also not sure if the 1.8 liter engine is gonna cope with its bulky body, but so far its a pass for me. • CL says maganda ang all new cruze and its defenitely bigger than the altis i saw a model in display at the SM pampanga it is a big car macho kasu nga lng ung 1.8 engine nya parang maliit sabi ni dad pero mas pipiliin daw ni dad ang cruze kesa sa civic....... sumakay si dad sa driver seat at sa passenger seat komportable daw malaki daw, mas malaki ung legroom ng cruze kesa sa civic sabi ni dad..... • shangri-la says saw the Cruze at EDSA shangri-la, it looks nice and bulky from the outside, pero when i sat in the driver's seat, my FD feels a lot roomier. the dash looks good except for that dirty-white cloth that looks dirty =(. the backseat also has less legroom compared to the civic and altis. the 1.8 DOHC seems like a guzzler, but with 6speed transmission maybe it will compensate. i'd consider this next to the civic.
