Volvo promo: Buy a brand-new car at zero interest

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Volvo promo: Buy a brand-new Volvo at zero interest

Volvo Philippines is making the purchase of its cars an easier experience by allowing its customers to drive home a brand-new unit with its High Five Ownership Package.

For a down payment of as low as 20 percent at zero interest for up to five years, buyers can reward themselves "with a car that delivers uncompromising luxury."

For the S80 and the XC90, car shoppers need to only make a 20-percent down payment with zero interest for 60 months, while the 2.0-liter S60 and the 3.0-liter S60 T6 are available for a 20-percent down payment at zero interest for 48 months.

As for the C30, the S40, the S60 T4/D3, the V60, and the XC60 T5/D5/T6, these vehicles can be had for a 30-percent down payment at zero interest for 36 months.

To cap its High Five Ownership Package, Volvo Philippines has all of these vehicles covered with its five-year warranty program and five-year roadside assistance service.

Maybe I'll go for the XC90 or XC60 for off-roading.

      Di yan pang off road..

What is the purpose of AWD if it is not capable for off-roading? For your info, AWD is like 4WD.

Parang AWD yang 4WD system ng XC series at hindi parang 4X4 na puwede sa rough stuff!

i know off the topic, but just wondering whats the diff between AWD and 4WD? enlighten me please.. :)

Just my 2 cents - I think AWD and 4WD are the same idea. AWD is mainly marketed for Crossovers and Sedans that drive on all 4 wheels - but this does not automatically mean it can go "OFF ROAD". The main purpose of AWD is MORE TRACTION and STABILITY on the road - a safer drive. Some people are mistaken that they think SUVs and Crossovers that are AWD or 4WD are designed and meant to go OFF ROAD - not all that is. A CR-V is AWD but is not an Off-roader, some call it a "soft-roader". If you want to go off-road - try a 4wd pick up truck or a land rover defender perhaps?

    • jayzeter19 Apr 27 2012 @ 07:03pm
i think this volvo's are not made directly in china.. correct me if i'm wrong :)
      • KERSMcPherson May 01 2012 @ 09:05am
could be- but it's already a chinese brand (for me).

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo

"in August 2010, Ford completed its sale of Volvo to the parent of Chinese motor manufacturer Geely Automobile for $1.8 billion."

        - that's why they signed Knicks' Jeremy Lin as their endorser..
