Win an all-new Impreza through the 2012 Subaru Impreza Challenge

So, you want the all-new Subaru Impreza but you're having trouble raising the P1.158 million needed to buy one? How about getting the chance to win one--not to mention a free trip to Singapore--by joining the 2012 Philippine leg of the Subaru Impreza Challenge?

This year's event will be held on August 11, 2012, at the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Like in the previous stagings of what has come to be an annual event, all the participants need to do is to place the palm of their right hand on their designated decal on one of five Impreza units for as long as possible. To make it more challenging, not only must they resist the urge to lift or move their palm from the decal, they might also be tasked to do some physical challenges to whittle down the numbers. And then there's also the fact that the contestants will only be given a five-minute break every six hours, which they can use to go to the toilet and to replenish themselves with food and drinks in the hospitality tent.

The last 10 contestants standing in the Philippine leg will represent the country in the Asian Face-Off of the Subaru Impreza Challenge, to be held from October 27 to 30, 2012, in Singapore.

Just to give you an idea of what it takes to win the car, last year's winner, Chong Kiat Chi, kept his hand on the Impreza for 75 hours and 36 minutes. If that seems impressive already, the 2008 winner, George Lee, did it in 81 hours and 32 minutes.
