The Alsvin is Changan's subcompact sedan. Measuring 4390mm x 1725mm x 1490mm, its size is average for its class. Trunk capacity is an adequate 390 liters. Styling is contemporary for this entry level 4-door segment with sleek and swoopy lines. As with many of today's cars, the Alsvin's front end is dominated by a large grille that extends below the bumper line. Its interior is quite modern with a dashboard that features a floating infotainment touch screen that's en vouge now.

There are two gasoline engine options offered on the Changan Alsvin, a 1.4-liter inline-4 mill that produces 99hp and 135Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter inline-4 motor that puts out 105hp and 145Nm of torque. The smaller powerplant is mated to a five-speed manual transmission, while the larger mill is paired to a five-speed dual-clutch tranny.
