The Tiggo carries that classic cute-ute profile inspired by the compact Japanese Crossover SUVs of the 2000s like the Rav4. The latest refresh known as the Tiggo FL in other markets brings it up-to-date with a slightly more aggressive face while retaining its cute-ute styling.
Under the skin, it's all modern with a 138hp 2.0 liter DOHC engine mated to an advanced continuously variable transmission. Power is delivered to the front wheels. Suspension tuning was handled by Lotus Engineering, a spin-off of the UK-based sports car maker Lotus Cars.
