Overview
Sitting at the top of Chery's SUV-centric lineup is the Tiggo 8 Pro, the newer more premium version of Chery's three-row mid-size Tiggo 8. It gets sharper more modern front end. The redesigned rear gets slim horizontal taillights and a higher license plate recess now located on the liftgate. Inside it features a fully digital instrument cluster and a larger tablet-type floating touchscreen at the center of the dash. The On the practical side, the Tiggo 8 Pro can seat up to seven.
There are two engine options for the Tiggo 8 Pro. The standard variant has a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline mill which produces 183hp and 275Nm of torque, it is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The PHEV variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline powerplant which puts out 155hp and 230Nm of torque, this is paired to two electric motors that produce 34hp and 54hp, respectively. Both Tiggo 8 Pro variants are front-wheel drive.
