The Sail is Chevrolet Philippines' latest sedan entry into the competitive B-segment. It was designed to be a straightforward and practical sub-compact sedan with an affordable price tag. This gives car buyers an alternative choice in a segment that's getting more expensive. Its simple clean lines are up-to-date with the latest global Chevy products, in fact it's the first locally available Chevy to wear the updated version of the American carmaker's dual-port corporate grille. Like its exterior, its interior is neat and straightforward. In front of the driver are traditional analog gauges in place of the trendy half-digital motorcycle-style gauge cluster found in older models like the Spark and Sonic.
Two gasoline engines are offered, a 99hp 1.3-liter VVT Inline-4 mill, and a more poweful 107hp 1.5-liter DVVT Inline-4 motor. The lone 1.3-liter variant can only be had with a 5-speed manual transmission while the 1.5-liter variants exclusively come with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
