The Trax is Chevy's baby crossover SUV. Slightly bigger than the Sonic it's based on, in terms of size and features, the Trax bridges the gap between traditional B-segment corossovers and larger C-segment crossovers. Exterior and interior styling is unmistakably Chevrolet, specially with its new corporate grille. On the safety department, all variants come with 6 airbags, ABS and traction control. For 2020, the LS and LT variants have been upgraded to the Premier LS and Premier LT variants. Exterior upgrades for the new Premier include the following: black exterior Chevy bowtie badges, Carbon Gray alloy wheels (16s on the LS and 18s on the LT), black C-pillar decals, a black sharkfin antenna, and crossbars. Inside, both get a dashcam, cabin air ionizer, and a cargo tray.
The Premier LS and Premier LT remain mechanically unchanged, this means under its hood is the familiar 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-banger that produces 138hp and 200Nm of toque. This motor is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Like before, both variants come standard with FWD.
