The all-new Thunder is the latest iteration of Foton's rugged mid-size pickup. The Thunder now has a more rugged design with pronounced wheel arches and an American truck-inspired grille with "F-O-T-O-N" spelled out in bold letters. Inside it gets a new horizontal dashboard layout with a tablet-style floating infotainment touchscreen.

It comes well equipped for its price, features like six airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, and traction control come as standard. 

Under its hood is a new 2.0-liter turbodiesel unit which pumps out 160hp and 390 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels either through a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic tranny.
