The Emkoo is the GAC's new compact crossover SUV. It features a sporty futuristic flush angular design that helps make it stand out in the sea of CUVs and SUVs.  The futuristic theme continues inside. The Emkoo features a dashboard with a tablet-style instrument cluster and infotainment screen.

Powering the new GAC Emkoo is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine which puts out 177hp and 270Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front-wheels through a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. According to GAC, the Emkoo has a claimed fuel consumption of up to 16.1km/L.
