The Haval Jolion is GWM's entry into the compact CUV segment. The Jolion features a sleek almost car-like exterior devoid of body cladding. The Jolion's front is dominated by a sporty hexagonal grille. Inside it has a Euro-inspired horizontal dashboard with a floating tablet-style infotainment touchscreen.

Two engine setups are offered on the front-wheel drive Jolion; a conventional 1.5-liter turbocharged gas mill which puts out 141hp and 220Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter turbo unit paired to a 115 kW Dedicated hybrid transmission. The latter's total system output is 186hp and 375Nm of torque.
