The Honda Accord has been around in the country for over two decades. In those years, it has evolved from being a mid-size sports sedan into a softer sedan, with a little bit more luxury and a little less sports in it. The Accord's latest mid-cycle refresh adds some sportiness back to Honda's popular mid-sizer. The most noticable exterior changes are its more agressive grille and front fascia, full LED lighting (headlights and fog lights), and sporty wheels. While the rest of the vehicle looks largely unchanged, it now boasts of more standard features which include cruise control and remote engine start.
Like before, two engines are offered, a 173hp 2.4-liter i-VTEC mill and a 277hp 3.5-liter i-VTEC lump. The 2.4 is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission while the 3.5 is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The White Orchid Pearl paint costs an additional P20,000.
