The Brio is Honda's entry into the city car segment. The second generation Brio is a development of the model it replaces. Its predecessor's cute styling has evolved into a sportier more mature design. Up front, it gets a Mobilio-like face with slim headlights and a more aggressive bumper fascia. The biggest change is at the rear, the previous gen's large chrome taillights and flat all-glass tailgate has been replaced with a cleaner more conventional looking rear-end. An advantage of the new design is its lower cargo liftover height. Inside it gets the more modern looking Mobilio-style dashboard. Rear legroom on the new Brio has also been improved, thanks to a 60mm longer wheelbase.Under the hood of the new Brio is a 1.2-liter i-VTEC inline-4 which produces 89hp and 110Nm of torque. While those number might not sound like much, it's more than enough for a fairly lightweight hatchback. This motor can be mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
