This is the all-new CR-V, more stylish, more upmarket, and more versatile than the model it replaces. Just like the all-new Civic and the upcoming all-new Accord, it adopts the brand’s new sportier and more premium design language. Third row seats are standard on all variants except the base 2.0 S. For 2021, Honda gave its compact SUV updated styling to keep looking fresh and competitive. Up front is a redesigned front grille and bumper, this gives it a more aggressive and rugged appearance. At the rear, it gets darker tinted taillights and a restyled lower bumper section. New wheels complete the new look. Its interior styling is largely unchanged.
Like before, the refreshed CR-V continues with the same powertrain options. Most variants come with a 1.6-liter i-DTEC oil burner which produces 118hp and 300Nm of torque, it's is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The base model on the other hand is powered by a 2.0-liter i-VTEC gasoline mill which puts out 152hp and 189Nm of torque, it is mated to a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard while the range-topping SX Diesel gets all-wheel drive. The S Diesel and SX Diesel come standard with Honda Sensing, a set of safety and convenience features which include the following: Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist System, and Collision Mitigation Braking System.
