The Odyssey is Honda's entry into the minivan segment. It incorporates Honda's latest design language which features an aggressive angular front with a bold rendition of Honda's corporate face. The most recent refresh adds LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED foglights. Styling has also been updated, the latest Odyssey gets a new dark chrome grille, a reshaped front bumper and new alloy wheels. Unlike the previous North American model, the current gen Philippine-spec Odyssey is CBU from Japan, this explains its smaller exterior dimensions, but with Honda's smart space efficient packaging its interior is still quite roomy. It's available in two flavors a fully-loaded 7-seater luxury variant with 4 captain's chairs and a more family-oriented 8-seater variant.
The smaller and lighter Odyssey is powered by Honda's fuel efficient 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine, this motor pumps out 173hp and 226Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Paddle shifters give the driver the option to shift manually.
