The E-HS9 is Hongqi's large BEV SUV. Despite being a fully electric vehicle, it features the classic elegant styling of its ICE siblings. Its front end is dominated by a tall stylized faux grille.

Powering the all-wheel drive E-HS9 are two dual electric motors. The base Executive variant has a total output of 430hp and 600nm of torque, while the Deluxe and Flagship variants have a total output of 544hp and 750Nm of torque. The base Executive variant has a claimed maximum range of 400km, while the Deluxe and Flagship variants have a maximum estimated range of over 500km.
