The Hongqi H5 is the Chinese brand's mid-size sedan. It shares the same elegant design language as the full-size H9 but packaged in a smaller sleeker mid-size sedan body.

The new H5 is available with two engine options, a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline mill which produces 156hp and 255Nm of torque, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas unit which puts out 224hp and 340Nm of torque. The smaller engine is connected to a dual-clutch transmission, while the larger powerplant is paired to an eight-speed automatic tranny. Front-wheel drive is standard on both variants.
