The tough and fuel-efficient D-Max gets even better. For 2021 it gets a complete makeover, while still recognizable as an Isuzu pickup, styling is now more refined. The larger grille gives it a bolder front design, while the more prominent character line gives it a more upscale look. It's the same story inside, the cleaner dashboard design with more pronounced horizontal and larger integrated infotainment screen gives the new D-Max a more premium feel.
Higher-end variants are powered by the upgraded 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX oil-burner which makes 187hp and 450Nm of torque. Sitting below the 3.0L mill is an improved RZ4E 1.9-liter diesel unit which still produces 148hp and 350Nm of torque. Both powerplants can be paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic tranny. Buyers can choose between 4x2 and 4x4.
