In 2021 the Isuzu D-Max got a complete makeover, while still recognizable as an Isuzu pickup, styling is more refined. The larger grille gives it a bolder front design, while the more prominent character line gives it a more upscale look. It's the same story inside, the cleaner dashboard design with more pronounced horizontal and larger integrated infotainment screen gives the D-Max a more premium feel. For 2023, the D-Max receives some styling updates to keep it looking fresh. All variants get a new grille design. The high trim LS-A and LS-E variants get new Matte Dark Gray 18-inch alloy wheels and a matching gray cargo extender. The range-topping LS-E variant gets Isuzu's advanced driver assist system.

Higher-end variants are powered by the upgraded 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX oil-burner which makes 187hp and 450Nm of torque. Sitting below the 3.0L mill is an improved RZ4E 1.9-liter diesel unit which still produces 148hp and 350Nm of torque. Both powerplants can be paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic tranny. Buyers can choose between 4x2 and 4x4.

3.0 LS-A 4x2 A/T Limited
The Limited variant features a new blackout grille with a red Isuzu logo, red lower front bumper panel, Unique side steps, 17-inch alloy wheels with 265/70R17 All-Terrain tires, monotube nitrogen-charged shock absorbers, and D-Max Limited exterior graphics. Inside, it has the D-Max Limited premium carpet.
