The all-new Soul retains its distinctive boxy upright profile, blacked out A-pillars (for the semi-floating roof look) and flared wheel arches. This time around its styling has been cleaned up, softer edges and broader shoulders give it a more muscular look. Slimmer headlights and a large trapezoidal lower grille give it a more aggressive looking face.
While it features a more conventional looking interior, the stylish looking speakers positioned above the aircon vents at the opposite ends of the dashboard give it a touch of uniqueness. Thanks to its new platform, the slightly larger all-new Soul now also offers more passenger room and cargo space.
Powering the local Soul range is a 1.6-liter diesel mill which makes 134hp and 300Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels either through a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
