The Kia Stonic is the Korean carmaker's entry into the subcompact crossover market. It combines SUV characteristics with the compact dimensions of a subcompact hatchback. While its design language is unmistakably Kia, its more angular lines, prominent wheel arches, and black cladding give it a rugged more aggressive look. The EX variant's black contrasting roof gives it a unique appearance. Moving on to the inside, its well laid out interior would look familiar to Kia owners. At the center of the dashboard is a well-integrated infotainment touch screen flanked by vertical AC vents. Its SUV-influence is not just for aesthetics, this little crossover has a decent 185mm ground clearance. Powering the new Kia Stonic is the Korean brand's 1.4-liter Dual-CVVT gasoline mill which puts out 94hp (99hp in the A/T variants) and 132Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels either through a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic tranny.Style EditionTo set it apart from the standard Stonic, the Style Edition gets black alloy wheels, lower front bumper trim with silver and red accents, lower rear bumper trim with silver accents, and side skirts with silver accents. It comes in two colors, "Prime Red" and "Clear White".
