This is the latest iteration of Lexus' premium compact sports sedan. Its well-tuned chassis is wrapped in an edgy modern design. The all-new IS features a more aggressive design that gives it not only a fresher look, it also gives it a sleeker and sportier appearance.  While styling is evolutionary, the new IS gets a one-piece headlight cluster, wider fenders and rear haunches, as well as larger available wheels. Inside the updated driver-oriented cockpit gets a larger "floating" infotainment screen. 

There are two gasoline engine options available in the Philippines; a 3.5-liter naturally-aspirated V6 which produces 311hp and 380Nm of torque (IS350) and a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter inline-4 which puts out 178hp and 221Nm of torque (IS300h), the latter is paired to an electric motor, total system output is 220hp. The IS350 gets a standard eight-speed automatic transmission while the IS300h comes with a continuously variable transmission.

For 2023, the IS350 F-Sport variant gets new 19-inch forged alloy wheels which are lighter. This updated variant also comes with a limited-slip differential, and additional standard safety features.
