For a long time the premium coupe market has been dominated by European brands, more specifically the Germans. Now we welcome a new challenger, this time from Japan, the new Lexus RC coupe. Part Lexus IS, part Lexus GS, with a dash of LFA, this sleek 2-door coupe adds some sportiness to the Lexus lineup. For 2020, styling has been made even sharper and more aggressive. Two versions are available the milder RC350 and the red hot high-performance RC-F.

Under the hood of the RC are two gasoline engines. The refreshed RC350 gets a carry-over naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 which produces 312hp and 380Nm of torque, while the refreshed RC-F gets an upgraded naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 that now produces 471hp and 530Nm of torque. On both vehicles, power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
