Overview
The Ghibli is Maserati's mid-size sports sedan. It's elegant and sporty styling is reminiscent of its big brother, the Quattroporte. This extends to its luxurious interior which features a traditional looking oval analog clock at the center of its dashboard.
A total of four engine options are available. It has two twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 gasoline mills, the less powerful one puts out out 345hp and 500Nm of torque, while the more powerful mill pumps out 424hp and 580Nm of torque. The lone diesel option is a 3.0-liter V6 motor which produces 271hp and 600Nm of torque. New for 2021 is the 48V mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbo gasoline unit with an e-Booster (electric supercharger). All engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Most of the Ghibli range come standard with rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive is standard on the S Q4.
