The CX-5 is known for combining Mazda's sporty zoom-zoom image with the capablities of an SUV. For 2017 the Japanese carmaker has improved the CX-5 inside and out. While styling may look evolutionary, it's sharper lines give it a stylish and upmarket feel. The same can be said about its interior, its clean crisp lines and attention to detail give it a premium european-inspired look.
There are three engine options for the 2020 Mazda CX-5, a 154hp 2.0-liter gasoline mill, a 187hp 2.5-liter gasoline motor, and a 187hp 2.2-liter oil-burner. All powerplants are mated to a SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the 2.0 variants, while the 2.5 gas and 2.2 diesel variants get standard all-wheel drive.
