Overview
The B-class combines the practicality of a tall hatchback people mover with styling that's unmistakably modern Mercedes-Benz. It may not be as sleek as its hot-hatch platform-mate, the A-class, but what it gives up in sportiness, it makes up by offering more passenger and cargo space, while keeping its exterior dimensions small.
Powering the all-new B180 is a 1.3-liter (1332 cc) turbocharged inline-4 gasoline mill which produces 136hp and 200Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
On the safety front, the B-class comes with a host of safety features that include driver & passenger airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag, and Active Brake Assist.
