Overview
The latest C-class has gone a long way since the more subdued first gen model that replaced the classic 190E in the 1990s. It has evolved into a more upmarket luxury sedan. The all-new C-class takes this a step further. The all-new C-class’s styling is now aligned to the latest S-class. While easily recognizable as a Mercedes, the latest evolution of the German luxury carmaker's design language is now sportier. Like its exterior, its driver-centric cockpit is also S-class inspired. Like its predecessor, the new C-class continues with round AC vents.
For now, only one engine choice is offered in the country, a 1.5-liter turbocharged mild-hybrid gasoline engine that puts out 170hp and 250Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
