The latest C-class has gone a long way since the more subdued first gen model that replaced the classic 190E in the 1990s. It has evolved into a longer, sleeker and more elegant luxury sedan. A big step up from the the model it replaced. Its flowing S-class inspired-lines make it stand out in its segment.
Mercedes offers two powerplants options in the country, a 154hp 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine for the C180, and a 120hp 1.6-liter oil-burner for the C180d. Both rear-wheel drive variants are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
