The GLC replaces the old GLK compact crossover SUV, it has sleeker more elegant lines reminiscent of the larger GLE and GLS crossover SUVs, Its interior uses soft flowing lines similar to the ones in the new C-class. The round chrome trimmed aircon vents add a touch of class.
There are three engine options; a base is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline mill which pumps out 197hp and 320Nm of torque (GLC 200), a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline motor that puts out 211hp and 350Nm of torque (GLC 250), and a 2.2-liter oil-burner that churns out 170hp and 400Nm of torque (GLC 220d). All powerplants are mated to a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. Mercedes' 4MOTION AWD system comes as standard on the 220d and 250 variants.
