The F56 is the 3rd generation of the Modern MINIs. For 2022 the MINI 3-door hatchback receives some updates to keep it fresh. Up front it gets a larger hexagonal grille with a border that links both upper and lower openings. Cooper and Cooper S variants get a bumper-level body colored grille insert. The new MINI bumpers get integrated air curtains to improve aerodynamics. The 2022 Mini gets Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, multifunctional five-inch instrument cluster, and 8.8-inch touchscreen.

Three gasoline engines are offered in the local market, a 136hp turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-3 mill for the Cooper variant, a 192hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 unit for the Cooper S variant, and a 231hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 motor for the high-performance John Cooper Works variant. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard on the refreshed Cooper and Cooper S variants, while the range topping JCW gets an 8-speed automatic tranny.

Cooper S Resolute Edition
Based on the Cooper S, the Resolute Edition comes with a Rebel Green body with contrasting Pepper White roof and mirror caps. It features Resolute Bronze accents which includes the head & taillight rings, grille border, side scuttles (fender trim) and door handles. The Resolute Edition also gets unique interior trim, which includes the cloth & leatherette upholstery in Black Pearl Light.
