The New Clubman is the "big" Mini. It combines the style and fun-to-drive characteristics of its smaller 3-door and 5-door siblings with a more practical larger body which features a roomier interior and a larger more usable cargo area. A feature unique to the Clubman is its "trademark" rear barn doors.

Two engines are offered in the Philippine market for the new Mini Clubman, a 189hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 for the Cooper S variant and a  302hp turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline mill for the high-performance John Cooper Works (JCW) variant. Both the Cooper S and JCW feature an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Cooper S comes with front-wheel drive, while the hot JCW version comes equipped with an All4 all-wheel drive system.
