The F57 Mini is the convertible version of the F56 3-door hatchback. For 2022 the MINI Convertible receives some updates to keep it fresh. Up front it gets a larger hexagonal grille with a border that links both upper and lower openings. Cooper and Cooper S variants get a bumper-level body colored grille insert. The new MINI bumpers get integrated air curtains to improve aerodynamics. The 2022 Mini gets Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, multifunctional five-inch instrument cluster, and 8.8-inch touchscreen.

The Cooper S variant is powered by a 192hp turbocharged 2.0-liter mill, it's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The high-peformance John Cooper Works variant is powered by a 231hp turbocharged 2.0-liter mill, it's mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
