​The second generation MINI Countryman gets a refresh for 2022. The most obvious updates are the more aggressive bumpers that give the compact premium crossover a more rugged look. It also gets new stylish two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside it gets a digital cockpit, this is made up of a 5-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.8-inch central touchscreen.

Two engines are offered in the Philippine market for the new MINI Countryman, a 192hp turbocharged 2.0-liter engine for the Cooper S variant, and a 302hp turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline mill for the high-performance John Cooper Works (JCW) ALL4 variant. The Cooper S comes with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, while the JCW feature an 8-speed automatic tranny. The Cooper S comes with front-wheel drive, while the hot JCW version comes equipped with a standard ALL4 all-wheel drive system.
