The popular Xpander MPV gets refreshed for 2022, it goes 0n sale May of this year. Exterior updates include a restyled front fascia and rear bumper. Inside it features a revised dashboard that has been given a more premium looking horizontal design with straight lines in place of the earlier model's curves. The updated steering wheel features a smaller circular horn pad. On the safety front, all variants come with dual-airbags and ABS with EBD as standard. The range-topping model gets additional safety kit like electronic stability control, traction control, and hill-start assist.
Under its hood is a 1.5-liter 4A91 MIVEC gasoline mill which produces 103 HP and 141 NM of torque, this can be paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission (base GLX) or a 4-speed automatic tranny.
Xpander CrossIntroduced in 2020, the Xpander Cross was refreshed for 2023. The Xpander Cross features unique wheels, rugged cladding and beefy roof rails complete the SUV-inspired look. The crossover MPV also gains Active Yaw Control. The two-tone Sunrise Orange Metallic paint costs an additional P10,000.The Quartz White Pearl paint costs an additional P25,000.Cross MMPC 60th Anniversary EditionTo commemorate Mitsubishi Motors Philippines' 60th Anniversary, Mitsubishi released a special edition version of its Xpander Cross, dubbed the "Xpander Cross MMPC 60th Anniversary Edition". This variant gains extra kit which includes mudguards, a tailgate garnish, a rear bumper protector, and a larger rear spoiler. Customers also get some camping goodies.
