Nissan's subcompact sedan, the Almera, gets a complete makeover for 2022. It now features a sleeker and sharper design reminiscent of the larger Altima and Maxima sold in the US. Up front, it gets a large version of Nissan's V-Motion grille, this is flanked by slim angular headlights. The sporty theme continuous inside with its black and drak gray interior.
The Almera is now available with one engine option, a base 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine which produces 99hp and 152Nm of torque (160Nm for M/T variants). This powerplant can be paired to either a five-speed manual transmission or am XTRONIC continuously variable transmission.
