Nissan's big subcompact sedan, the Almera, now sports a more stylish front end inspired by its bigger brothers, the Sylphy and Altima. While it may not be as sporty or flashy as some of its competitors, it shines when it comes to practicality thanks to its roomy interior and large trunk. On the safety department, Dual airbags and ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) are standard across the range.
The Almera is now available with two engine choices, a base 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine which produces 78hp and 106Nm of torque and a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engines which produces 98hp and 134Nm of torque. The 1.2-liter engine is exclusively available with a 5-speed manaul transmission, while the 1.5-liter engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.New for 2019 is the 1.5 N-Sport M/T and 1.5 N-Sport A/T variants. Compared to the standard 1.5, it gets an N-Sport bodykit, alloy wheels, and emblems.
