Nissan Leaf 2023

Overview

The Leaf is Nissan's compact EV hatchback. Its local introduction marks the Japanese brand's entry into the Philippine EV segment. Unlike the futuristic first gen model, the new Leaf has a more contemporary design that is in line with other new Nissan vehicles. For 2023, the Leaf gets a few updates, this includes a black V-motion faux grille, new predominantly dark two tone wheels, and the new Nissan logo.

Powering the Leaf is a front mounted electric motor that produces 148hp and 320Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a Single-Speed Reduction Gear Transmission. The Leaf can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds, it has a range of 311km on a full charge.

Charging to full using a home outlet can take around 15 to 18 hours, while the charging time using the dedicated charging stations at dealerships can take only 40 to 60 minutes.
